Priscila Dantas de Moraes Accepted at American School of Classical Studies at Athens

PhD candidate Priscila Dantas de Moraes was recently accepted as a regular member at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. This prestigious and highly competitive fellowship grants scholars year-long positions in Athens where they are able to participate in a range of museum and archaeological site visits to aid in their study of the ancient hellenic world, as well as engage with some of the leading voices in the field. 

Priscila is part of the History of Art and Archaeology track, and her research focuses on the study of the connections between the ancient Greek scientific tradition and late Roman and early Byzantine architecture. She has studied at the Universities of Campinas (BA) and Paris (M) and has participated in archaeological works in Caesarea Maritima and Amman.
