Beginning Fall 2025, changes to the requirements for a BA in History of Art will be as follows:

Additionally, the 7 free-choice courses must cover at least 4 distinct distribution categories.

Indigenous Americas
Latin America/Caribbean
SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa)
These requirements will be in full affect for those in class years 2028 and beyond. For those in class year 2027, this new system will be highly encouraged. For those in class years 2026 and 2025, the previous requirements remain in affect.
