Ph.D candidate Lara Fresko Madra of Cornell University's History of Art Department has been awarded the Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellowship at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She will join the cohort of 64 fellows selected for The Met’s 2021–2022 Fellowship Program. Fresko Madra was awarded the fellowship to continue her doctoral and curatorial investigations into contemporary art practices that engage violent pasts as a challenge to official history.
