What was your area of focus/study within Art History while at Cornell?
I have always been interested in feminist and Jewish art, which led to my thesis titled “Judy Chicago: A Dynamic Synthesis of Feminism and Judaism.”
What is something you will miss about your time at Cornell? Or, what was your favorite part of being at Cornell?
I will miss going to class every day and spending time with my friends.
Did you participate in any clubs, sports, or student organizations while at Cornell?
I am a part of Cornell for Israel and the History of Art Club.
Did you have any internships, study abroad, or work on any special projects while at Cornell?
I studied abroad in London at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. It was an incredible experience where I learned about the Art Market, Art Curation, and got to explore museums and galleries in London every week.
Where are you headed off to after graduation?
I plan to join Goldman Sachs‘ Client Engagement Team, where I will focus on promoting the representation of women in the Private Wealth Sphere, while also learning about Art Advisory in Private Wealth Management.
Anything else you would like to share about your experience in the Department or at Cornell in general.
I appreciate the wide range of classes I was able to take in the History of Art Department and have loved the freedom I had when deciding topics for my papers. I took classes such as Topics in Feminist Media Arts, History of Photography, and The Arts of Southeast Asia, which are some of the many classes I was able to explore.
