Kelly Presutti, Modern European Art

In fall of 2020 Dr. Kelley Presutti will join our faculty ranks in the field of modern European art. Presutti is currently a Mellon post-doctoral fellow at Columbia University. She Graduated from MIT in 2016 with dissertation titled “Terroir after the Terror: Landscape and Representation in Nineteeth-Century France.” This fall she will teach Introduction to Modern Western Art. 

Professor Iftikhar Dadi recipient of the Getty Foundation grant

Professor Iftikhar Dadi is the recipient and Principal Investigator of a $238,000 grant from the Getty Foundation’s Connecting Art Histories initiative. This grant supports a series of research seminars titled Modern Art Histories in and across Africa, South and Southeast Asia. Dadi also serves as an advisor to Asia Art Archive. Learn More

Professor Jolene RIckard was chosen as one of the winners of the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly's Faculty Teaching, Advising, and Mentorship Award. Professor Alexandridis leads Margarete Bieber Reading Group

The Margarete Bieber Reading Group is part of a larger project initiated by Associate Professor Annetta Alexandridis from Cornell University (Classics, Archaeology, & History of Art) and Professor Francesco de Angelis from Columbia University (Art History and Archaeology), which will culminate in an international conference in 2021.
