PhD candidate Sara Garzon will speak at the Metropolitan Museum’s Virtual Spring Fellows Colloquium – Economies of Vision: Art Labor, Art Markets, and Cultural Production after 1940. Garzon, a Met Fellow, will present on her research, The Counter-Baroque: Transhistorical Expressions in Contemporary Latin American Art. Moderated by Brinda Kumar, PhD ’15, Assistant Curator, Department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Met.
The colloquium will take place virtually Friday May 7th 10am – 12 pm.
