History of Art PhD candidate, Lara Fresko Madra, to speak at Frick symposium

Lara Fresko Madra, History of Art PhD candidate, will participate in The Institute of Fine Arts and The Frick Collection Symposium on the History of Art on April 16, 2021, from 3-5 pm via Zoom. Her talk, “Aftermaths of Forced Monolingualism in the Works of Aydan Murtezaoğlu and Dilek Winchester” will take place at the beginning of the session. 

The Frick Collection and the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University jointly sponsor the annual Symposium on the History of Art for graduate students in the northeastern United States. Speakers are nominated by their doctoral programs to present original research in any field of art history.
